Sales Policies/ FAQ
Payment Policies:
- I can accept Paypal, Credit or Debit Cards, or electronic payments with Venmo or Zelle.
- I require a 25% down payment for any commission over $500 or 50% down payment for any commission $500 or below. Once your piece is selected for a commission I will send you an invoice for the total commission price with a partial payment enabled for the down payment amount. Down payment is required within 24 hours of invoicing (or 7 days for checks). The balance will be due once the piece is completed. Model will not ship until paid in full.
Time Payments (not including commissions):
- Time Payments are welcome, I use PayPal invoicing for all payments as it allows you to make partial payments on an invoice, which makes tracking all payments made much easier for both parties! All payments made towards a piece are non-refundable.
- Time Payments can range from 2 months to a year depending on pricing. Deposit size will vary based on what we discuss or what is listed in the sales information. Most of my sales or auction will detail how "long" of a payment is due for each piece. A payment is expected every 30 days if you are going to be late, an email would be expected to let me know of any delay. Non-payment for two consecutive months with no communication is grounds for cancelling the transaction and listing the art piece back for sale. I understand emergencies happen, so please email me if there will be any issue.
You are always welcome to pay off an invoice sooner if you desire!
Making your initial deposit on your piece is agreement to the above terms, unless otherwise discussed with myself in emails.
Shipping Policies:
Domestic shipping Unpainted and Painted Pieces:
All horses are shipped via USPS or UPS with tracking. Insurance is included unless otherwise stated in the sale itself.
Internatioal Shipping:
Due to GPSR and LUCID, I am limited in what I can ship internationally, please read below for full details:
Unpainted Resin Editions: Currently, I can ship to Canada, Australia, Great Britain and any country not affected by LUCID and GPSR. For EU contries, only specifically designated unpainted resin can ship to the EU.
One Of a Kind Customs: These are seemingly the only exception to the GPSR regulations. I CAN ship customs to the EU, but not Germany (as LUCID regulations prohibit this).
I am happy to ship to a third party or an artist if you have a friend in the US. Please only do this with someone you trust. Please note, after the party receives your model safely, I am no longer responsible for what happens after that.
I am really sorry to my international customers - as an artist, my customer base is the foundation that holds my business together, and I hate having to limit any of you from my work, but these regulations greatly limit my ability to reach the requirements needed to be compliant. I urge those in the EU to write to your representatives to see about having these broad regulations re-evaluated.

Exchanges/Returns:
- Painted Pieces: All Sales are final unless otherwise stated in the individual sales agreement.
- Unpainted Resins and Medallions:
- You have a 5–day inspection period during which time you may return a casting for an exchange or a full refund (less shipping) if not fully satisfied (resin is warped, broken, or otherwise compromised). Be aware you may have to wait for a replacement casting to be made, available from the next batch of castings depending on what I have available. Please note, regardless of the reason for wanting an exchange, photos of the damage will need to be included in your email.
- When you return a model for exchange, it is expected the model be packed with the same care it was originally shipped with, the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges to send the model back to me.
- Commissions (when offered): Are non-refundable, as I will make every effort** to ensure the model is what you envisioned.
**This doesn't mean that you can choose a different color halfway through me finishing a piece, that will incur more charges.
Resin Modification and Retained Rights
You may paint and customize your resin in any way you see fit, I just ask that you make note of any of the modifications you have made to the sculpture very clearly should you choose to sell. You may not however, cast the resulting piece in whole, or in part. Attempting to recreate a derivative or ‘likeness’ of my sculptures in any scale or media, be it from scratch, a Breyer or Stone plastic model, or another artist’s resin customization is also not allowed. Basically - any purposeful, intentional copying is a no-no.
I also ask that you refrain from uploading my work into AI platforms.

Repairs, Restorations & Alterations Painted Pieces:
Repairs:
I offer repairs on my own custom painted pieces (resin or Breyer) if I have time. If not, there are a number of wonderful restoration artists I can recommend (such as Sue Kern/Sakoris Customs). Pricing for repairs depend heavily on the amount of damage, and what caused the damages. Buyer is responsible for shipping to and from me for repairs.
Alterations:
I will not "freshen up" older pieces as this usually leads to repainting most of an older piece as basically a new commission. Alterations/modifying/adding to a piece is not permitted on any painted pieces without my explicit permission. If you choose to strip and repaint a model by me, that is totally at your own discretion. All alterations must be noted if the buyer chooses to sell the altered model in the future.
