Healthcliff

Bram is a classic scale sculpture depicting a Friesian, sculpted by Sarah Mink! He stands 7.5 inches tall at his eartips, and he is just FULL of presence.

I decided to paint him as a 7/8 Friesian cross! He is painted to a detailed Varnish Roan blanket appaloosa. He was prepped and meticulously painted with mixed media; which include airbrush, pastel, and acrylic. He has lots of hairing and texture throughout his coat to achieve that varnish roan look. His mane and tail are lightly "sun-faded" for added dimension with haired details at his crest. His feathers also sport some hairing dimensional details, and his hooves are painted that classic loud appaloosa stripe. He has appropriate mottling and pinking as well :). He was sealed in a matte finish, with eyes and inner nostrils finished to a high gloss.
